As a Canadian coming down to Texas to paint, Stanton created this tongue-in-cheek tabletop still life, hosting several Texas-sized tourist mugs full of black coffee.

Jill Stanton is a Canadian artist and muralist working for both private and public clients across North America. Her work has been featured in several mural festivals, including the 2019 Habit Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2018 Concrete Canvas Festival in Calgary, Alberta, and the 2017 Vancouver Mural Festival.
