West Dallas art space—Sweet Pass Sculpture Park—wanted to incorporate a local mural artist into their outdoor projection screening area. Mariel designed a monochromatic spray paint pattern that included elements of the buffs and graffiti from the original wall.

Mariel Pohlman is a self-taught designer, illustrator and muralist based in Dallas, Texas. She works in a variety of styles, from abstract to photo-realistic. She left her business career in 2016 to solo travel the world, and in the process rediscovered a passion for making art.Upon returning home to Dallas, she began working as a full-time artist. Her mural clients include Lyft, Heineken, Uptown Dallas, Mockingbird Station and Sylvan Thirty in West Dallas.
