Combining contemporary culture with classic iconography, Jenny Lane’s current series is a sarcastic dive into the vastness of existence, weighing the value of life with inevitable disappointment. Creating imagery that is both visibly and emotionally recognizable, it makes a shared experience for viewers that reflects how out screen habits can label the physical world around us and inhibit our responses. Her studio resides in Austin, TX where she is also a visual arts educator, and creates and collaborates with galleries, live venues, and commercial businesses across Texas.
